OWNER | EXECUTIVE PLANNER
Hi loves! If you know me you know you know I love all things weddings - from the hectic designing & planning to the true love stories from each couple. I'm a hopeless romantic...who believes that marriage takes work and it's a lifelong partnership. I'm a dog mom to two fur babies - Simba & Nala, both are rescues! #adoptdontshop. Secretly I am a bargain shopaholic who can often be found at TJ Maxx or Marshalls! I am THAT girl who you meet in line and want to exchange numbers with because we'll be best friends. My favorite sweet treat is a macaroon, especially from Amelies and I am always down for a good glass of red wine (Malbec, especially!). Also...I always wear black, with an occasional pop of color.
Originally my heart was created in NYC and eventually my fam moved to southern FL like every New Yorker does... but relocated to the Carolina’s in 2010 and consider the Carolina’s my forever home. Some say I have the bold NY ambition, the FL sunshine smile mixed with a small pinch of southern charm… in other words I am a very diverse individual!
our focus on your event is giving you personal attention while ensuring all logistics are coordinated seamlessly. Because of this, we feel it is best to partner with event & design creatives who are experts in their industry. we have built excellent partnerships with our preferred vendors who assist in a creative & well thought- out product and/or service for our clients. Neither the design nor coordination of logistics loses focus because they are equally important and given the attention needed to create a seamless event.
In March of 2015, after some soul searching I decided to kick start Clockwork. I had been dreaming about starting a business since 2010 but always put it off. One day a good friend said to me “You’ve made 100 excuses why you can’t do it, tell me 1 reason why you can?” I then turned that fuel into fire and never looked back. For me event planning and design has always been the perfect balance of building a business/networking and being a creative artist.
Growing up I always tended to lean towards the creative side of my brain but was never able to find an outlet in the business world. I have finally found what makes my clock tick. My business philosophy is simple: “Every tiny detail makes the big event extraordinary”. I value the details - finding out each piece of the puzzle allows me to incorporate many aspects into the design. Unique challenges are always welcome. I like to approach problem solving like a maze. There are many different ways you can go about it but trusting my instincts and knowledge, is what keeps me moving forward.
With Clockwork I strive to establish an organized design perspective, customized to the needs of each client. The event is not only about what you want your guests to experience while they’re eating, drinking and dancing but it’s about the marriage with your new spouse and how that LOVE inspires your family and friends. Being apart of each moment during that day is so special to me and I want to make it extraordinary for you!
Hello! I’m Corinna Aguilar (soon to be Boulware). I am a proud graduate of Johnson & Wales University, CLT with a major in Event Management. I'm a Certified Wedding Planner via the Bridal Society. You’ll often catch me shedding a happy tear to almost all of the first dances! It's such a special moment to witness. The Hospitality industry has owned my heart for the last 15 years of my life. Over the years, I have worked every aspect of the hospitality industry from dishwasher to director or catering. I am now able to put my degree to use with planning corporate events, which later steered me towards my passion of planning Weddings. Kayla and I connected after working a few weddings together and I knew we were on the same level when it came to business! I have successfully been a witness to over 250 love stories and commitments to love.
Hey! Since I'm new here, here's a few things to know about me! I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and moved to Asheville, NC when I was nine! I attended school at Western Carolina University and graduated in 2017. After moving here I spoke and interviewed with Kayla and was glad to start working under Clockwork. I have an identical twin sister who is getting married next year and let's just say planning your sisters wedding isn't like planning your clients. I have a new puppy named Leia and of course you know my instagram is full of photos of her. She's a golden retriever who has tons of energy so if you want a doggy play date....you know who to call! I love a heartwarming love story, it drives my passion in storytelling and creating a romantic designed event for my clients. The #1 thing you need to know about me is I AM PASSIONATE. I am passionate about my career, my family my friends and my dog.
